Children’s Book Drive

jswf chhattisgarh book drive for community library

We have an ongoing book collection drive for our community libraries in Balrampur in Chhattisgarh & Varanasi. Our #Read2Grow program is completely funded by patrons and by people who genuinely wish to share their love of reading & learning with the children of the under privileged ethnic communities.

We are currently running a Children’s Book Drive to collect books for our Balrampur Community Library for ethnic children in the community. This initiative is solely funded by our patrons & those of you who wish to bring education to children in tribal communities.

Please take a moment to read more & we welcome you joining our #Read2Grow mission to bring books and learning materials to the children in these remote parts of the tribal community.

Join Us in this Children’s Book Collection drive

Parents, teachers and the community can band together to collect new and gently used books for schools, out-of-school programs, child care centers and little libraries at home. You can motivate & encourage friends, neighbors, other parents, club members and co-workers to donate new or barely used children’s books.

Everyone who organizes and contributes to book drives helps us reach more children with the gift of books and the promise of literacy. Read more of our #Read2Grow Program here.

New to Book Drive?

We can help you get started!

Everyone who organizes and contributes to book drives helps us reach more children
with the gift of books and the promise of literacy. We greatly appreciate all efforts.

Most of the books we expect to distribute to our community libraries come to us from book drives.

We’d like to help you get started, so please send your information in the form to us if you plan to run a book drive.

Schools, especially elementary schools, are among the most important organizing hubs for book drives. Principals, teachers and media specialists usually support these events and will often organize book drives in their schools.

Many companies and service groups (scouts, civic clubs and men’s and women’s clubs, etc.) choose to collect books for Read to Grow to support families and schools in their area.

Running a book drive can be a significant way for a corporation or business to give back to the community in which it is located.
